Am I really the only one of you who remembers the Jeremy cartoons? My brother Martin and I used to LOVE this guy. I still remember watching him on Access Network way back in the day. Nowadays, I find I am getting more and more nostalgic the older I get, hence digging up this clip. Did I mention that the animator was Polish? No wonder it was so good <wink>.

I have a vague recollection of this bear, however, I do not remember him being tone-deaf, nor do I remember “him” sounding like a “her”. Just as an FYI, this bear’s name in Polish (as daddy-o informed me, but his memory is always questionable) was Kolargol. I for one can see the resemblance in the name.

Awesome!! I agree, he sounds like a girl. Also, for some reason the french lyrics are SO much catchier than the english ones!! Sounds great in the shower (at least, I think so. Rob may think otherwise.) Cui cui cui!!!

L’ours qui chante en fa en sol

I remember Jeremy very well! I watched him on TV with my oldest boy many years ago. Jeremy had good story lines and was a perfect series for intelligent children. Along with Doctor Snuggles, Jeremy was one of my two favorite childrens cartoons.

I remember this show vividly and I grew up about an hour west of Edmonton. I also remember that some episodes REALLY scared me. Or I had nightmares about it. Either way, it freaked me out in some ways. But I loved watching it.
If my mom remembers me watching it, she’ll think it’s cool that the animator was Polish too.
